The following people should write 500 word book reports on the following books:
Blake Butler - Any Thomas Ligotti book except the book of comic adaptations, I guess. Try to find a book of his at the library. The comic book is the only one that is currently in print, although another collection is supposed to come out next month. Most of his out of print books are pretty pricey. They are too malignant to stay in print or something.
Brandi Wells - Read Steve Aylett's Only an Alligator
Gena Mohwish - Read James Tate's Return to the City of White Donkeys
Gina Ranalli - Read David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest (ha-ha)
Jason Jordan - Read Steve Erickson's Rubicon Beach
Jess Gulbranson - Read Anne Beattie's Chilly Scenes of Winter
Josh Maday - Read Carlton Mellick III's Cybernetrix
Keith Montesano - Read Grant Morrison's The Invisibles Vol. 1: Say You Want a Revolution
kek-w - Read Kelly Link's Magic for Beginners
Micah Hacim - Read Tao Lin's Eeeee Eee Eeee
Mike Young - Read Chris Genoa's Foop! (you can borrow my copy)
Ryan Call - Read D. Harlan Wilson's Stranger on the Loose

I read Carlton Mellick's The Menstruating Mall and liked it a lot; I was at the height of my consumerism awareness phase, so it hit the spot beautifully. I have Fishy Fleshed and The Baby Jesus Butt Plug in queue. And now Cybernetrix. Long live Mellick III!
i am so way behind on these assignments
i am sorry
90% of your final grade
i will try to find that and check it out.
i was interested in the menstruating mall also, it sounded interesting.
i haven't read enough this summer.
Blake - Your friends story reminded me of Ligotti. I proofread one of his stories once for Weird Tales. He's awesome.
The Menstruating Mall is good. My publisher published it. You might like Sea of the Patchwork Cats better. Maybe not. Or Teeth and Tongue Landscape.
Can I have "Magic For Beginners"? I'm in the middle of reading it!
Brandi: You will have to repeat senior year over again.
which friend's story?
The one with Chandler and Rachel and Monica and Joey.
oh oh, i thought you dropped an apostrophe and meant one of my buddies.
i will def try to find ligotti, sounds fun
I wish I could think of an appropriate epithet for you, Bradley Sands. It's on the tip of my tongue just what you are...
Tao Lin's Eeeee Eee Eeee
Tao Lin wrote an amazing book. It's called Eeeee Eee Eee. It was a really fun read. The characters were well written and full of exciting actions. The story was about a man named Tao Lin and the new Asus laptop he bought. Tao didn't have a lot of friends and people were always giving him a hard time. He liked a girl, but she didn't like him so he ended up using his laptop computer to download a text editing software program called Microsoft Office. Then he wrote a book (not a real book, a book inside the story) called Steve and the Art of Motorcycle Repair. The book sold a million copies, but the girl he liked was still not impressed. Eventually the girl's family fell on hard times and Tao came to the financial rescue. The girl began to realize that she loved him, but Tao had already married a model. This book did a good gob at stirring up emotion in the readers. There were very few typographical errors, because I didn't notice any in the entire book. I would recommend Eeee Eee Eeee to read even if you're not assigned to, but don't take my word for it!
